The Great 2008 Road Trip

In August of 2008 Bob and Sandie Forkner plan to attend the Bauman Family Reunion on August 9th. The reunion will be held at the home of Don Bauman in Howard City, Michigan. We have decided to make this an extended trip, by car, stopping along the way to visit family and friends.

North		South
On the trip north we will be stopping in Jacksonville, FL, Athens, TN, Westerville, OH, Lansing, MI and finally on to Grand Rapids, MI. We will have an overnight stop at Macon, GA. Prior to Grand Rapids we will be taking a side trip to Clare, MI and Cass City, MI to visit friends.		On the return we will be stopping in Middleville, MI, Centerville, OH, Franklin, WV, Ocean View DE. We will have an overnight stop in Westin, WV as well as Raleigh, NC and Savannah, GA on the return to Boynton Beach, FL
On the trip south we will be stopping in Centerville, OH and Franklin, WV to visit distant cousins of Bob. These are cousins on Bob's mother's side of the family. In both cases we need to go back at least four generations to find our common ancestor. Bob connected to his cousins while researching the family history. While we have communicated via e-mail, this will be the first meeting in person. We are looking forward to meeting these new-found family members.
